Book Review: Insatiable by Leigh Rivers

Book Review: Insatiable by Leigh Rivers

Love, obsession, pain — and the kind of emotional damage that leaves a mark.

Insatiable follows Kade Mitchell, a man who’s spent years watching from the shadows after the woman he loved, Stacey Rhodes, walked out of his life. Now he’s back — and he’s not leaving without her. But this isn’t a love story wrapped in sunshine. It’s dark, twisted, and raw. As secrets unravel and pain resurfaces, their connection is tested in the most brutal ways.

This book was dark. And I loved it.

At times, it was honestly hard to read — not because it wasn’t good (it absolutely was), but because it was just so painful seeing what the characters were going through. The emotional depth, the trauma, the obsession... it hit hard in the best and worst ways.

Despite the heavy subject matter, the writing was super easy to follow. I finished the book in just two days — totally consumed by Kade and Stacey’s story. Their relationship is complicated, messy, and completely magnetic. Even when I felt emotionally wrecked, I couldn’t stop reading.

If you like dark romances that hurt a little (okay, a lot), Insatiable will absolutely pull you in.
